During your HALO laser session at Self Beauty Medical Spa, you will relax in one of our comfortable private treatment rooms. Our skilled team will apply topical numbing cream, and you'll wait roughly 30-45 minutes for it to take effect. After that, we'll perform the Halo laser treatment, which takes about 10-15 minutes. The HALO laser uses advanced "smart" technology to measure skin temperature and signal when each area has been adequately treated, ensuring uniform exposure across the face. This system also allows the practitioner to customize the treatment for each patient, tailoring it to individual needs, goals, available downtime, and other specific factors.

We will then create a personalized treatment plan, answer any questions, and schedule your sessions.
2. Treatment Process
During the HALO laser treatment, a topical numbing cream is first applied to the treatment area to ensure comfort. The device's handpiece is then uniformly rolled over the skin in sections, delivering dual-laser energy in short bursts to each targeted area, such as the left cheek, right cheek, forehead, chin, and around the nose and lips. Excluding the numbing time, the actual treatment duration ranges from 15 to 25 minutes.
3. Recovery & Downtime
The first 1-3 hours after the procedure, you will feel heat similar to an intense sunburn. After this initial phase, there should be no physical discomfort; however, there will be a feeling of tightness, and your skin will be dry. Downtime includes redness and swelling for the first 3 days followed by an additional 3-5 days of sandpaper-like skin, which gradually sloughs off from the center of the face to the hairline. Social downtime is determined by individual comfort; however, makeup can be worn on day 2!
